TLI21315 Certificate II Rail Infrastructure - Group A Track Work Units

PARTIAL - TLI21315 - Certificate II Rail Infrastructure - Release Date 04.07.2018 - 4.0-5.0 - Release 2
This course will deliver the Group A: Track Work units of competency from TLI21315 Certificate II Rail Infrastructure.
 

Please be advised that whilst this course contains Group A Track Work Units of Competency Learners will require the Core Units and three elective Units to achieve a full Qualification. Upon completion of this course Learners will achieve a Statement of Attainment.

This course contains:
TLIB2085 Apply track fundamentals
TLIB2092 Operate minor mechanical equipment
TLIS2030 Carry out track ballasting
TLIS2031 Install railway sleepers
TLIS2034 Install and repair rail fastening systems
TLIS2044 Carry our rail installation

Duration:
A Face to Face workshop typically requires one week. A logbook must then be completed in a work environment. Logbook completion must be completed with 12 months of enrolment date.

Delivery:
This course is Internal (Face to Face) and Workplace based. 

Work Placement
Learners will need to complete supervised activities in the field (workplace) to complete this course. A logbook will be supplied for the learner to complete the relevant activities and tasks. This will also details the equipment you will need access to. Once the logbook is completed it can be submitted and upon successful completion a Certificate or Statement of Attainment will be issued.

If a Learner does not have a suitable workplace, the E-learning component can be completed however, a learner will not be able to be issued a Certificate OR Statement of Attainment until the logbook is completed (in the workplace).

If a learner requires support services, please contact our office for assistance. This course requires basic Language, Literacy and Numeracy. Assessment requires single choice, multiple choice and short answers. 


Assessment:
Following successful completion of the e-learning component, learners will be issued a logbook. The logbook requires learners to complete work experience for each unit. Once the logbook is completed this can be uploaded and submitted via the learner portal against each unit.
