Introduction:
High Level Skill Electives - QR3.17 Managing Multiple Worksites
This unit involves the skills and knowledge required to plan and coordinate worksite protection for multiple worksites within the limits of a work on track authority.
It includes identifying protection requirements for multiple worksites, establishing protection of multiple worksites and removing protection arrangement for multiple work groups.
The track protection requirements may involve long-term planning and consultation with a number of stakeholders.
On successful completion of this package learners will also have the following QR knowledge and skills:
- Identify protection requirements for multiple worksites
- Compile and maintain Multiple Workgroups Register MD-14-168 form
- Compile and maintain a Worksite Permit SW07 form
- Establish protection requirements for multiple worksites
- Ensure workgroups safely enter and exit the worksite
- Handover worksite protection.
Learners who successful complete the course will be issued with a Statement of Attainment for
TLIL4069 Plan and coordinate protection for multiple worksites within limits of a work on track authority – this unit forms part of TLI32721 Certificate III in Track Protection

QR Certificate of Achievement for “QR3.17 Managing Multiple Worksites”
PREREQUISITES
A qualified Queensland Rail Protection Officer with standalone electives that has achieved 6 month monitoring is eligible
ASSESSMENT
The learners will be assessed to determine their competence using both a theory and practical assessment.

1 day for workshop 3 – 6-month mentoring
